Koda is our oldest and a HUGE(literally 120lbs) Momma's boy. He loves to cuddle up on the couch and enjoy a good movie with the family and overall enjoys being a homebody. We adopted Koda as a pup from a military home in 2017; he craved love and the "best friend" relationship every furbaby lives for. He was born with a sensitive digestive system; only able to eat certain proteins, in fur-parent talk, boocoo bucks for approved treats & food. We started out trying to save money by making his meals & treats homemade & in the end he loves his home cooked meals better than any dog food we ever tried!
Favorite Treat: Minty Paws
Zoey is our wild child. She loves to play and run around the yard like there's an apocalypses coming. She has such a huge heart always playing with our younger furbabes with the utmost care to make sure she is gentle yet encourages them to challenge themselves. We adopted her from a home in 2018 that didn't have adequate time to devote to her; which if you know anything out the German Shepherd breed you know this is an absolute must! We brought her home and fell in love. She jumped right on to the "Pupcakes" train right through the door and she will never know anything else.
Favorite Treat: Pumpkin Cakes
Maximus for short, although the is the name you hear most in our house because he is the trouble maker. He LOVES to stir the metaphorical pot...He is sassy (literally always talking) and he is ALWAYS pondering up his next move to be a pain in my butt; but I can't imagine life without him <3. We adopted Max from a family in 2020 that couldn't control his quirks; again, this breed is absolute on needing 1 on 1 time for training and overall establishing pack roles. While he is still a whole lot of crazy he enjoys just being his loving playful self. He eats like a garbage disposal but at least we know nothing he is sucking down is garbage.
Favorite Treat: Peanut Butter Bones
The newest members of our hairy family, these babies are from the same litter. How can you adopt one and not the other, am I right? These kids are the most well behaved puppies I have ever seen, it's the craziest thing. They are so stinking smart! If you ever consider adopting a shepherd consider getting them younger. They love to play (of course) and are not at all intimidated by our bigger kids. Skamp is incredible, the potty training on that kid has got to be record breaking; he picked it up in a matter of hours. He is fierce yet reserved, bold yet soft, and he is seriously the cutest stinking thing EVER.
June was given her name with our attempt at making Jr. feminine. She looks EXACTLY like our first Shepherd, Gabby, down to the white toes on her front left paw. She is gorgeous and cannot resist a belly rub. She is another talker in the family; always letting you know what she thinks about anything & everything. She can pull off anything, mostly because she is an absolute Daddy's girl.
